NDC Global Outlook Report 2019

The UN Development Programme (UNDP) and UN Climate Change (UNFCCC) have been working together since 2014 to support countries in developing Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

This report leverages these relationships and history to present a detailed review of momentum since the 2015 Paris Agreement. The report finds many reasons for optimism, but there’s much more to be done. Business as usual isn’t good enough and governments need to scale up ambition in areas related to mitigation, adaptation, and the finance to support climate goals.
