The Climate Action Tracker (CAT) quantifies and evaluates climate change mitigation commitments, and assesses countries’ progress in meeting them. CAT works by aggregating country action to the global level to determine likely temperature increase by the end of the century. The Tracker also develops sectoral analyses to illustrate the relevant pathways for meeting global temperature goals.
