About the Climate Ambition Support Alliance
Supporting effective climate negotiations.
The Climate Ambition Support Alliance works with climate-vulnerable and ambitious countries and negotiating groups to strengthen their capacity to shape international climate negotiations and advance progress towards the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C goal.
CASA brings together expert organisations and experienced negotiators to provide technical, legal, and strategic support shaped by the priorities of countries and negotiating groups.
Long-term support strengthens coordination, collaboration, and institutional knowledge, helping negotiating groups develop the systems and structures needed to engage effectively across the UNFCCC process.
CASA supports the exchange of knowledge, experience, and expertise across the climate community. The Knowledge Hub builds on this work by bringing trusted resources and practical insights together in one accessible place.
Funded by the UK Government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), CASA works towards fairer, more inclusive multilateral climate negotiations that support greater global climate ambition.
A decade of experience.
Since 2011, the Climate Ambition Support Alliance and its predecessor programmes have supported climate-vulnerable and ambitious countries to participate effectively in international climate negotiations.
